Difficulty level: Easy

Free Headband Knitting Pattern
Materials: 100% Wool Lion Brand Fishermen's Wool yarn 465 yd (425 m) / 227g - 1 skein. Color Natural
Needles: 8 (5.0 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Gauge for stocking stitch: 16 st x 18 rows = 4" x 4" (10 x 10 cm)
Patterns:
Reverse stocking stitch:
Row 1. purl
Row 2. knit
Repeat row 1 and 2.
Cable on 6 sts:
Row 1, 3: knit.
Row 2, 4, 6: purl.
Row 5: C6B (Cable 6 Back).
Repeat rows 1-6.
Directions
Cast on 32 sts (including edge stitches).
Knit as follows odd rows (right side): sl 1, p 7 (reverse stocking stitch), k 1, p 4 (reverse stocking stitch), k 6 (cable on 6 sts), p 4 (reverse stocking stitch), k 1, p 7 (reverse stocking stitch), p 1.
Even rows (wrong side): sl 1, k 7 (reverse stocking stitch), p 1, k 4 (reverse stocking stitch), p 6 (cable on 6 sts), k 4 (reverse stocking stitch), p 1, k 7 (reverse stocking stitch), p1.
Knit for 20" (50 cm) or to fit your head circumference. Cast off.
Sew the end together
Fold length wise so that each side is folded toward middle and seam is in center.Stitch.
